Still trying.....it's pretty hard to get around there with the eraser tool and I'm not sure why that white line is still there. I'll figure it out though.

What did I do wrong? I followed your guide.



Only part I didn't follow was to add a new mask, and that's because after I selected inverse and when to add layer mask it wouldn't allow me to do that.


I'm using CS5 if that makes a difference.
Were the background contents set to transparent instead of white?:jbhmm:

Yeah. I have it set to transparent. I must have skipped something somewhere along the line though. I was able to get rid of it later. I just need to work harder on the outline.

use the magic wand around stephs head then click inverse then delete
