New Hip Hop & Rap music in 2013? No thank you.

There's still some ok and average Hip Hop & Rap music out there but for the most part great Hip Hop & Rap music is a lost art because of the majority of it being wack.

Besides, I find Rock (Heavy Metal, Alternative, Folk Rock), Jazz, and R&B/Soul (real R&B/Soul music like Joe, Adele, and Maxwell), music much more entertaining these days.

as far as i can see, there's just as much bullshyt in every genre. at the moment there may be better rock or R&B in the mainstream & on the radio but i don't think any genre really has a better good to bad ratio than Hip Hop. good shyt is good shyt and wack is wack, there's enough sub genres and different vibes in this shyt for anything you could imagine from gangsta shyt to nerdy shyt to straight spittin, to instrumental shyt to experimental shyt, renaissance Joey Bada$$ type shyt. there's something for everyone, just because it's not ALL played on the radio/MTV doesn't mean anything.

I said it was a good album as there have been other good albums (only a few, like a one or two) that drop ever so often now in Hip Hop and Rap music. The amount of garbage that gets released in Hip and Rap music now is 10 times more than the amount of actual "ok" or "good" albums that get released.

It is a good album that stands out even more so in this era because of the lack of good music and competition.

I've been listening to Hip Hop and Rap music for a long time, since the 80's to be exact.

But it's been consistently wack since the late 90's into the 2000's.
