Just picked this up...

So I have had Virtual DJ on my PC's a few years and every so often I would pull it up and just mess around at the house.

We had a work function for about 20-40 people and I was asked to just to play some songs...so I brought my laptop and had that joint like a back yard cookout....

Couple folks asked If I would come through to their house function....one even said would I do a wedding....


so ya boy copped this yesterday...gonna start practicing...My building has like 6,000 people in it...bought to get this extra cash.....

Just got some powered speakers for the house to practice with.

Gonna get some 12's or 15 off ebay on stands in a couple weeks

Powered speakers. You mean like powered 6" studio monitors to mix stuff at home, or powered PA cabinets to play at venues?

Are you just going to be playing a set list of tunes, where you just show up, set things up and hit play? Or are you mixing tunes so that one song's ending blends into the next song's beginning?

Nah me and my old roomate from college gonna do it together...we gonna stay mixing songs together....based off what they want.

For instance....this project manager on my team wants me to do a BBQ at her house next month and she gonna give me a list of all the songs.....so im good
