The league just needs to figure out how to make it possible to have multiple super super teams in both conferences. This is the era of the super super team. You need like 4+ all stars and/or near all stars to compete for a championship now. 3 might not cut it anymore.
I don't think that's the league's job.

A team like GS was made with great drafting, good vet signings once the young guys were ready and luck that a guy like Steph had severe injury concerns his first few years in the league resulting in him being severely underpaid.

I have no problem with "super teams"
It makes no sense to me that you have some many "fans" that want to keep money in rich white billionaire owners hands, especially on a supposedly black majority site.
How does super teams take the money out of the owners hands? In fact doesn't it work in the opposite. Players devalue their own worth and make the owner more money because their winning and bringing in championships.

It's been said a million times. No max contracts and a hard cap. Problem solved

Actually they don't devalue their own worth, they make themselves more marketable in other markets. That said the biggest correction for super teams I always hear is hard caps or even more restrictive free agency for the benefit of owners and "parity"

They may be more marketable but that doesn't move any more money from the owners pockets to theirs. It might make Under Armor or Nike cut them a check but Joseph Lacob and Dan Gilbert aren't paying more.

A hard cap puts more money in the owners pocket by limiting total players salary and essentially, "protecting them from themselves"

Ur post directly contradicts this dude's thread tho. Black men would be getting an ungodly amount of money now, wouldn't they? Most of the NBA's best players are black and they'd be the ones receiving these "blank checks"

There's a salary cap because it protects the owners from themselves

They wouldn't agree to this

My friend the NBA isn't about the game it's about money look at the Donald Sterling method of having a purposely trash team to collect the revenue check.

The owners make at minimum tens of millions untaxed

It's only going to get worse with expansion

Cities have teams that are too tiny but still making money like Indiana, Sacramento, and Salt Lake City

The league is built off the backs of stars people come to see that's why rookies are locked into 4 year contracts
