'J.E Heartbreak', a very loved album by me, is about the extent of my Jagged Edge collection….I'll check this, something to note though, in terms of r&b, I think current artists like Weeknd, Miguel, Frank Ocean, even August have managed to create lyrics that are more relatable on an everyday level, and JE and similar 90's r&b, tends to be more dramatic in theme, withe everyone either heartbroken or madly in love all the time….contemporary artists have managed to create something for people more in between, like myself.

No disrespect but this line of thought is why R&B is a dying genre.

Not every song needs a rap verse to add credence to it. Fine just the way it is.

I actually agree with you. But they haven't done shyt and it would have benefited them to do that. Old r and b has been dead for a while but if you can get a push and keep the album on the same tone then who knows :yeshrug:

I'd rather have someone like ye spit some shyt on this then hear a techno beat with jagged edge feat nelly

Weeknd (junkie new black weirdo)
Miguel (sissy, He's Prince minus the heterosexuality)
Frank Ocean (...yeah)
August (trey songz 2.0)

These new nikkas don't impress me.

The Weeknd's first shyt is a Molly era classic tho, loved it.

You're wrong about Miguel fam. He's the best of that list by far. Easily one of the best male singers in the last 10 years.
