So the US title is basically a Gajin exclusive belt interesting concept

I get the logic in booking someone with some name value to American audiences for these US shows but Billy fukking Gunn Even 17 years ago itd be laughable

I was excited to hear the top titles would be defended, but less so now, knowing Cody and Billy Gunn will be contending for them.

If you're gonna pander: Omega/Okada III in the US, with a title change, would have been huge. 6 months extra or not, wouldn't have affected Okada's ace reign.

Stretching it out to WK12 will still work, but NJPW could have made waves, and a more consequential show would really establish the importance of the G1 US Special.
