So what do we think happens for the next few months brehs?

I think Omega takes the belt and keeps it until Naito, or even Okada (would be classic Gedo booking) face him for the strap. I think he could have a run till September or November depending on how long they want to build up to Champions vs G1 winner.

Tanahashi probably takes the belt from Naito and frees him up for either a G1 win or dethroning Kenny.

I'm not sure if Okada vs Naito is the correct and obvious path Gedo is working towards to or I'm just filling in the blanks for a match I want to see happen at WK

Why you trying to make sense of these things? I remember the first time I subscribed to NJPWorld and went like "Aye I'm going on a Inoki binge because...GOAT" Jeez ...back to back lame finishes, DQs, and just straight up all around fukkery to make me question his GOAT'hood. However, dude is a pioneer to the industry with creating NJPW with Baba, made strong style popular, and actually had a aura about him. Dude look like a legit prize fighter for such a fake sport, you would think it's legit. Beyond the shytty matches, he's still in the top ten despite the booking decision that almost killed NJPW.
