That's their formula. When Jeezy moved off that Trap Or Die sh*t n*ggas start saying he was falling off and was getting mad when he stopped working with Shawty Redd. His best album which is considered a classic is filled with trap beats.Same with T.I when he stopped getting beats from Toomp. When Ross went with mostly sample beats on GFID they said it was boring and stale.Moral of the story is stick to your formula that's the only reason why Gucci,Gotti,Ross,Juicy J,2 Chainz is still relevant right now because they sticking to the trap formula. This song was one of the best off Meek's album and it's a trap beat.

all im saying is this.....give or take a few songs MMG has been making the same exact songs for atleast 2 years now

its been succesful but contrary to what you believe for established artists at this point over use of the trap sound is stale and not impressive in 2013 and a large amount of people listen but are tired of hearing the same 808drops and sped hi hats in every damn song.... if MMG doesnt make a dramatic change in musical approach and content at some point they will fade.....they already have reached there apex and are on the way down.... gfid was suppossed to put ross over the top into supastarr status. it went gold but people expected growth and got none. except for his core fans no one wants to hear rick ross talk about bricks or being a druglord especially how his gangsta has been exposed for all to see. to a hardcore fan of his it might be cool but we dont want to hear that weak shytttt no more:manny: he gotta show us somethin else or MMg will sink into g-unit status b4 u think

If your basing their ship sinking from sales you will be incorrect look at the sales of SMV1 and SMV2 then look at the first week sales of TD and GFID.Meek and Wale both did good numbers.I can only see them growing in music Wale is about to have another #1 record with this and it's not trap. When Meek drop tracks like this pouring out his heart and it gets overlooked. When Ross drop tracks like this & [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe8yMiUOm94]Rick Ross - Presidential ft. Elijah Blake [God Forgives, I Don't] - YouTube[/ame] it gets overlooked.Stalley is in his own lane.Rockie Fresh is in his own lane.Maybach O is in his own lane.MMG is growing and is getting better and better and got one of the best movements in the game right now no matter what angle you look at.

:obama:

i've always loved this track since i first heard it on DJ SCREAM's radio show on HOT 107.9 in ATL.........

i love the CONTRASTS between RICK ROSS and MEEKS voice........

they compliment each other well...........

and their "coke talk" never BORES me.............

It's sooooooooo OVER THE TOP that it's nothing less than entertaining ("a half a mill in the duffle bag!")

repetitive arrogant performance (RAP!!!)

My exact feelings. These brothers work good with each other. Meeks hunger to be where Ross is and Ross' greediness to get more money. Classic Ross arrogance and classic Meek hungry ignorance. I love it.:cape:

wale and stalley def have some songs with substance but stalley is not marketable and wale wont have another single with lotus flower bomb success imo....though more versatile wale has peaked already and has about as much personality as a pet turtle:manny:........

i think the general public is already sick of meek screaming so good luck there.....

the jury is still out but look at the lack of interest in this thread for a new mmg video as a example.....1 page:laff:
no one cares like they once did about mmg....
