seriously...i fukk with elz but man duke takes his fukking sweet ass time dropping albums and he is still yet to drop an album that is better than good. it's kinda sad when your best work (elmatic) is a remake mixtape of a classic album that also was delayed almost 2 years as well...nikka can't even release mixtapes on time.

Man the crowd funding cats can be the worst sometimes. I'm into MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and this guy named Stuart Cooper was doing these really cool documentaries on fighters and stuff and did one so he could afford to keep traveling the world and doing them. Then afterwards, he's only made like 1/10th of the ones he said he was gonna do, and on top of that he's charging for all of them, even to people that donated.
I think crowd funding is cool. But sometimes you just never know what you're gonna get. I meant to donate to Elzhi, but didn't in time. I didn't realize he still never dropped anything from it.
Dope song, as a former Elzhi stan I know better than to expect an album anytime soon tho. At some point you gotta drop an album man, its still mindboggling that he invested all of that time remaking Illmatic when he could've spent that same time making an album...and not even leaving his own city to get great, original production. I just don't get it, shyt is damn near on Jay Elec levels.

i dont think needing different or outside production is the issue. detroit has some of the best, unique producers in hiphop. i hate he fell out w/ young rj too b/c they were great together. he's just too lowkey. no real web presence. he needs a better team behind him, maybe is just in need of a team period. he could be more successful continually making the music he already is.
