One of the early 2000βs most seminal album is getting a re-issue as Mr. Lif will be releasing his Def Jux debut LP I Phantom. This is being done as part of a multi-album deal with indie label Mello Music Group. Today we get the first re-released track, the El-P-produced Return of The B-Boy. I played this album a ton when it dropped and itβs one of the Top 10 album of the 21st Century to me, so to be reintroducing this album to a new audience is pretty dope. Expect Mr. Lifβs official studio debut with the imprint to drop in 2016.
