Silver/NBA believe the deal is different enough to where WBD cannot match it... lawyers will decide if that's the case or not, I'd think the likely outcome would be some sort of settlement and it doesn't go to court. Both parties would rather not go to court from what I've seen reported.

no, 20B is the total value of the deal. 11 years at 1.8B a year.

at the thought of Silver accepting a deal from someone that told him they don't need you, funded by a line of credit when Bezos got that checkbook open and Amazon looks like its going to be the future of live-streaming.

If they can match Amazon that would be great. That spot should be reserved for traditional TV. TNT should try to team up with CBS like they do for March Madness. Could have a similar setup like ABC/ESPN.
