One of the best trips I ever went on! Being able to drink in the streets and walk around is cool, and the bars are a lot of fun. I must have seen like 20 pairs of titties. The Creole/Cajun cuisine was some of the best American food I've ever had.

I also left the city (about an hour and a half away) an went as far as the Gray/Thibodaux area, it was a really beautiful area. I even saw a gator chilling on the side of the road but I think it was dead. That's somewhere I would love to have a summer house, if it wasn't for the hurricane risk (seems like there's water everywhere you go).

Next time I want to experience some more off-Bourbon nightlife, see some more live music, and try out some more good food. Any recommendations for bars, restaurants, and other things to see?

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Bourbon Street** Appreciation.

Go outside the French Quarter and tell me if you still appreciate it lol

Lmao. I ain’t going to lie to you I went there for two days for my friends wedding. Enjoyed the city a lot but it was the first southern city I been to where the locals were fed up with the place they didn’t have the happy southern charm I’m used to seeing in other southern cities.

Aside from that I still wouldn’t mind living in New Orleans, just like I wouldn’t mind living in Chicago, Baltimore or Philly. Murder rates don’t phase me.

Yeah the city is dope. I'd definitely live their too although in either the Suburban or Rural parts of the New Orleans Metro area :mjpls: and just be in and out the actual city . But i find it's alot of Post like OP where MFs say they Love New Orleans and it's so nice because They were enjoying themselves on Bourbon meanwhile elsewhere in the city someone was getting robbed or shot

No, I left Bourbon street a lot actually. Another highlight was Frenchmen street which is pretty touristy too but less so than Bourbon street. I also went to various city neighborhoods and liked most of them.. I even left the city and went out in the swamps.

I even went to the Lower 9th Ward. I wouldn't say I loved that area, only because it was pretty depressing and it looked like that area still has a long way to go to recover. It appeared that over half of the houses are still gone.

I love new orleans
- those frozen drinks will leave u:drunk: :dead: quicker than expected:whew:
- but the food is what gets me. The steak i had down there :ohlawd:
Never mind the poy boys and the gumbo:banderas:

Gumbo :banderas:

I didn't get any frozen drinks but I got a Hurricane. That shyt was too sweet to drink a whole 20 oz of and I say that as someone who loves sweet drinks. Mostly I just kept buying the 3 for 1 beers that you can get at some places. And Abita Amber is really good and that shyt is everywhere
