New Orleans appreciation thread

No worries, it’s best not to rush anything in New Orleans in my opinion, even if you’re here only for a few days. There’s a lot of stuff to do but no need to do everything to enjoy yourself.

But Rebirth Brass Band play at the maple leaf every Tuesday night (if they’re in town). I figured that would be a good show to catch right off the plane.

I do live here as well, right outside the quarters in the Marigny. I’ll PM ya and see what’s popping with you a little later this afternoon if you free? Trying to catch some more sleep, had to do the news this morning on channel 4 so I was up mad early, plus my birthday was yesterday so my energy is all over the place

My city is a Gem. I try to encourage our people to visit as much as I can. Their presence is very much needed.

I was up in the other thread calling it a weird city but that’s exactly what makes it a beautiful city. When you there, you know you there and nowhere else. New Orleans will always be the true capital of the hypothetical Gulf Coast region
