M & G Media launches Africa digital news platform

Sorry but I cant copy and paste the story on my phone for some reason on my phone now but can of you guys do it for me? Thanks. I apologize

Anyway nice to see a story like this...hopefully it does not just get 2 pages and is forgotten about.

@Captain_Crunch @kp404 @Family Man @Gifted one @bdizzle @Robbie3000 @BlackCanvas @CACtain Planet @PewPew @2Quik4UHoes @gangreen @Dreamestorical

@Piff Perkins

Thanks for the tag. I will start following them. I hope they are truly pan-african and not just using it as an umbrella to regurgitate western views. I truly get annoyed when I see that. Plus I hope they have African writers. I find it weird when I am reading editorials on the African continent and the writers are Europeans.

No problem.

Mail & Guardian Africa

I am clicking links and so far it looks like the writers are all native Africans. Hopefully thats not just select articles and includes that as a whole.

If this site is legit I already know off a site to use to help get it more exposure.

I have been reading some of the editorials and so far its very good. I especially liked the one about the reason terrorists target buses. Gave a totally different perspective.

this quote from the piece rings true for Nigeria in regards to the Boko haram situation...
Such attacks are also guaranteed a spot in the daily mass news, helping terror merchants remain relevant in the public eye; a good advertising return for the minimal amount of “investment”.

The bus, especially in Africa, has a class element to. The victims are mostly the regular folks, as compared to targeting the out-of-touch middle class, who really do not vote.

As such the bus will remain a popular target of terrorists, leaving many African governments torn between the need to demonstrate they can protect their citizens internally, and trampling on their citizens civil rights and liberties.

Plus what site do you know off that will help it get more exposure?

Free advertising traffic exchange - Traffic Ad Bar

Ignore what they put about 1,022 views in 3 days. That is bullshyt.

Anyway I have an account on there and basically as it says you view websites and itss usually a 1 to 1 ratio...

So say I view 35 sites in one day...my link will in turn get about 35 views...now if several of do that we can be on to something.

And by the way it does work because I tried google analytics and other sites that show website statistics and when I would put in my website I am promoting I would see high numbers.

I always say I really loathe using white owned businesses(as in the owner of this traffic site) to accomplish things but I am sure alot of Black folks feel the same way...the same way I cringed in the past buying books about Black self consciousness from white owned amazon.

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
The aim is to focus on delivering quality African news and information via mobile to, primarily, 30-40 year-old audiences with a college education in both Africa and outside the continent.
Mail and Guardian Africa will offer a non-paternalistic, intelligent, and enlightened view of developments on the continent without feeling duty-bound to talk up the ‘Africa Rising’ narrative, or to be stuck in cynicism and a refusal to see progress either.
The objective is to make M&G Africa the most trusted and diverse source of news on Africa,” Onyango-Obbo said.

It will be hard to achieve that objective focusing on that audience

Cool. :leon::ehh: Pretty sure they mean intercontinental Africa, which is a lot more logical than what black people here in the US thinks that means. God bless the Africans :salute:
