People should apply pressure to YouTube when cops do this.
Youtube won’t be able to do anything. YouTube not gonna turn off their content ID software just cause cops pulling this little trick. That software automatically scans every upload for copyright infringement.
Now the thing is, just because a cop uses this tactic doesn’t mean it will work. First of all, the artist has to be signed up for content ID. A lot of older songs and a good number of artist, the system wouldn’t flag because they not registered. And also, just because a song is flagged dosent mean the video will get taken down. Artist who are signed up set their parameters to either have the video removed, or have ads run on the video and get monetization off of it. A lot of artist choose monetization. I had a video with Ice Cube good day and it didn’t get flagged. The system for sure caught it cause I didn’t alter anything. That lets me know the parameters for that song set to monetize. On the other hand, you upload any video with a Jay Z song in the background on YouTube and it’s getting removed immediately. He got all his shyt set to remove.
