If him being black in the primary wasn't enough to get him black votes, not sure how being black in the general is going to be any different. In the primaries blacks already chose Hillary over Carson when given the choice. Not sure why people believe it will be any different in the general.

They are still in denial. Sad

Chose Hillary over him? I wasn't aware they were going against each other head to head. I forgot that a ton of black people vote in the Republican primaries as opposed to just the democrats. My mistake

Some states allow you to vote in either and/or your can change your party if you care to do so to vote in the primary.

My point is that if all these people who would vote for Ben Carson over Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical general election match up could of either voted in open primaries for Ben Carson or if they really about it, could of change their party affiliation to vote for him since Mr Sleepy, er Ben Carson, is such a motivating figure compared to Clinton.

I don't buy this poll.

the poll was a head to head poll so the primary votes don't correlate

I think Carson had to have a realistic chance of winning for him to have any impact on the black vote, which is what happened with Obama
