Lets pretend like China wasn't given the plans to build this jet by our government.
Either steal it, buy off people, or buy the company that makes it
Either way their gonna get it
The future for americans is not a good one
they've been the best "adapters" in the world.
but not great at innovating. until that changes, they'll be a step behind.
The F-35 is a pile of crap that seriously threatens the capabilities of all NATO countries and allies with shortsighted greedy move by US corporations
This has allowed India, Russia and China to catch up so quickly.
Even Israel is forced to join the F-35 program and buy it, while it is banned from adding its own systems.
This has allowed things to go back to how they were in the 1960s and 1970s when there was a 5-10 year lead in technology which is now quickly diminishing, while in the 1990s the US was so far ahead with around 25 year lead in technology.
Thank you US corporations for your massive corruption and incompetence. Thank you US political elite for your strategic stupidity and arrogance.
If they just listened to their own experts they would still have a large technological and strategic lead
