So it looks like the series will take place before Episode 7, and the animation will be anime-inspired.

My interest is piqued.


I wonder if they'll pick up on the loose plot threads from Rebels (ie. what happened to Ezra and Thrawn, what's going on with Ahsoka, etc.). Might also be a good opportunity to finally give Snoke an origin story.

We might get to see old lady Ahsoka Tano.

Might also get to see what Luke was up to before Episode 7, if he was doing anything other than sitting on his planet depressed and shyt about what happened with Ben Solo.

That's better than going with 3D CGI animation.

Other than the prequels, Star Wars has always been about rebels resisting evil empires.

More seemingly ancillary characters that "exist" at the same time but dont really impact a damn thing in the story huh?
Learned my lesson with these cashgrab shows when all i got was a offhand mention of the ghost from rebels in Rogue one(barely!)....not even gonna watch
