What I loved about the 1990 TMNT movie, was how it capture the look and feel of early 90's New York City. It was dark and gritty, and violent for a kids movie, and it also had this end of the 80's, and beginning 90's feeling to it. It's one of my all time favorite comic book movies, whether movie buffs admit it or not, the original TMNT movie is a classic film, way ahead of it's time.
