I've never used the word out of malice, and that I say with 100% honesty.

I just finished watching the documentary "13th" and I have decided against using the word ever again.


I apologize for using it as there are various words that I can substitute and it's use brings nothing productive nor does it make me feel better as a man.


I was sincere when I said I grew up around AA's and this was what they would call me and it just stuck. I love black people tho, and no matter how much people on the coli attack and belittle me it won't change my love for them.

I agree. I think I defended my use of it moreso because it has always been a part of me, and who I am.


But defending the use of any prejudicial word is a terribly bad judgement call.
