Juice, pat, frayser, wyte, chat and im buying

amended... :smugdraper:

Yep, its mostly Paul and J-Green (Lex Luger copycat),tho 6ix commandments has good beat selection, but some of those beats were overproduced imo, too many sounds.Id like to hear some Lil Awree beats in that new album.

I remember J-Green from the myspace days. He had that sound before anybody knew who Lex Luger was... That spin-off DJ Paul/Juicy J DJ Squeeky/DJ Zirk, DJ Sound, Blackout sound that is... both of their styles of beatmaking were birthed by the mid-90's Memphis rap sound.

Well I checked one mixtape entirely produced by him like one year ago, and shyt sounded like bad quality Lex Luger, with ridicilously overproduced hihats and drums who werent even in place..:birdman:

LOL @ Paul & Juice's music sounding "too much like trap" :heh:

The sound that they made famous and has been duplicated a kazillion times over is the prototype "trap" sound before the word even existed. Of course it's going to sound similar to some of the spin-off's and copycats. It's these new nikkas that sound like them, not the other way around.
yes because early/late 90's three six sounded just like the 2000's three six which sounded like the trap sound that they have used for the few past releases:shaq2:
you aren't impressing anyone with the idea that three six started "get buck/crunk/whatever else you want to call it music. they just need to stop the trap sound is the whole point.

If we're just talking a style of beatmaking... and not the content within the raps... 3-6's sound has never really changed (outside of 06-08) since the early 90's. Just a few tweaks here and there.... Not including Juicy J & Project Pat's latest material of course. Paul has stayed true to the sound more or less.

And the "trap sound" is nothing more than a sub-genre within a sub-genre of rap that Paul & Juice were largely responisble for widely disseminating.

Your argument is invalid, sir.
