you can drop your track in this thread or link up to an existing thread and i'll drop my feedback there

Sounds like some real Ice cream man trap music, I like the usage of the high hat and the nice level of the kick drum the mids/low mids are blended together really well. The melody is really catchy as well. Good job.

Track is sick. I like your sound selection throughout, brought some interesting sounds. Good change ups, kept it interesting throughout. Top notch stuff here :ehh:

intro a little too long IMO, if i didn't see the wav shape i would have stopped it. but i'm glad i kept listening cause once that other sound kicks in, it's dope as fukk. love the buld up and variations afterwards. nice vibe and it made me feel something. props.

until 0:39. to be frank, i would still have skimmed through it cause that what i do to make sure i didn't miss anything. but from 0:39 forward it's dope. not to say the intro is wack but it drags a little.

also, i checked out your other beats, really like your style breh. and that's one thing i like about, it, the fact that you have a "style" in the making. if i had to compare your style, it would be a mix between the dudes from G-side (only heard one album from them called "The One Cohesive, dope album) and Timbaland slightly. Keep it up breh. I'm not as skilled as you but hearing your stuff made me feel like getting back at it. it's refreshing.

EDIT: also, it depends on what your vision was for the beginning. I personally think it drags in the beginning from the context of an instrumental piece. but if someone was to sing/rap over it, maybe it fits and isn't too long. that's the tricky part about presenting beats to people. kinda like the story of when Puff heard the Kick in the door beats and thought it was wack. Beat is classic but i listened to the instrumental once and i could see Puff hearing the beat and never heard biggie on it, shyt probably sounded redundant as fukk. yet it bangs...

yeah, i definitely had someone rapping over it in mind. i usually bring a bunch of stuff out early but thought i'd try to build on this one instead.

appreciate the comments about style. to me that's one of the highest compliments a producer can get. and i haven't heard of G-side (will look them up now) but Timbo is definitely an influence. his stuff w/ Aaliyah is what really got me into music at a different level and the run he had w/ danja, JT & furtado is what inspired me to be a producer.

I fukks with this beat

I like how it started off, the buildup, then it turned into some dark shyt

The switch ups were on point too, was able to diversify the sound without the beat being all over the place

Thanks. I appreciate it. Been working on keeping the beat interesting w/out having too harsh of transitions. Good to hear positive feedback on that.

The baby sounds were pretty dope...

That low octave synth at like 0:45 adds a nice vibe to me. And when you took the drums out to let the melody ride :lolbron:

Only criticism I have is the drum pattern is repetitive but strong drums nonetheless. I'm a fan of changeups so I always look for them.

This track works for me tho keep it up.

it's just jibberish. after a while it started soundin like "him won't stop" though :manny: good enough for me.
