decent album. he def. comes from the school of early 2000s Curtis. overall he could stand some better production and because of his subject matter or lack there of, he should stay away from lots mixtapes.

actually been listening to this more than Blue Chips 2 which surprised me.

i've been listening to Troy but wasn't a fan.
i liked certain songs he done and then Bricks In My Backpack Vol.3 came along and it was good and now this, i'm a fan.

Troy from the generation of us young dudes who were like 12/13/14 when G-Unit, Dipset, Roc etc was thee guys so his influences are there and his music doesn't forced..in a way it feels like it's one of us compared to someone who might hear..say.. Meyhem Lauren and feels like he's from their generation making music they grew up on....if you get my drift.

his slip up in that interview though.. "other studio was a drug spot.................allegedly" :russ::stopitslime::sadcam::snoop:

7 songs in and I already have this kid pegged. He's marginal at rapping but he's picking beats that on paper appeal to aging New Yorkers without alienating the kids.

He's really on some mimick young Jay Z shyt sans the bars.

Tape sounds alright though. I may give it a second spin. Or not. His voice is kinda irritating.

Listened to most of it this morning...not hearing the young Jay Z...but he definitely sounds like 50 Cent's son to me...from his rap style, down to the way he constructs his hooks...don't know how much I'll be playing it...but I can appreciate his movement, thought it was a quality project

he has the high voiced, arrogant "ha ha" type shyt Jay was on in the late 90's.

first few tracks he raps a lil like old school Jay Z, but yeah most of it is similar to 50 cent
