This country is done. The fact that a conservative who also happens believe that the 2020 election wasn't stolen is now too far to the left of these MAGA folks is a sign of whats to come. Its grim. Its concerning. Everyone should be very concerned.

We're past the point of the Republican party just being for a smaller government and being moderately socially conservative. It has been completely hijacked by fanatics who'll now deny the results of every election they lose and will seek to supress those that don't align with their wacky worldview.

This is textbook fascism and there is really no other way to put it. The next 2 years will be a rough period for America. I forsee political assasinations, a complete erosion of our civil liberties by the Supreme Court, more white nationalist inspired terrorist attacks, a far more fanatical and violent Republican base, and Republicans eventually taking the House, Senate, and Presidency. Too many of us didn't take the threat serious and will now be in a position where the only pathway to oust these demons from political power may be through civil conflict. Someone of you are gulliable enough to believe that your life wont change much under these people and you're about to fukk around and find out.

There was a segment on Medhi Hassan's MSNBC show months back that featured a political scientist that studies civil wars. She'd been to multiple countries where they took place and studied all circumstances which lead to them. She said we are on the path to a second one here.

Some poster said something a while ago that made me think. If there is a civil war in this country between republicans and democrats, one side is enormously disadvantaged.
