We haven't had a mayor we've been somewhat comfortable with since Dinkins (and white people hated him, so let's say Koch). That's over 20 years. I don't hold out hope for whoever runs this city and it doesn't matter. It's going to hell anyway. If I got a problem, I'd rather rock with the BX borough President. At least he comes off like he has my best interest at heart. The NYC Mayor does not look out for you unless you got money.
