New York Plastic Bag ban starts tomorrow

Tap water tastes like shyt. All the fresh water sources are contaminated. We’re in a tough spot.

Tap water is good here in New York thankfully. But I know some states have shytty tap water.

But people who insist on bottled water would be better off buying 10 gallon jugs instead of buying tons of .5 L water bottles for their own crib

I agree with you. Fill your canteen up before leaving the home and you’re good. In my state the two water dries my throat very bad. So I buy water elsewhere.

I have no problem with that. I prefer less waste. Folks have to start looking at the bigger picture. The world is getting dirtier and health outcomes are getting worse because of waste and consumption. We can’t have it all.

Yup, I already got my reusables on deck.

I heard some grocery stores in upstate NY already started a month ago just to get used to it. Alot of stores (not all) will be selling paper and reusable bags just in case you forget to bring em or didn't have any.

I would prefer the cartons like they use in milk and orange juice then... they gonna charge us more on it IF they move to glass jars and bottles...

Yeah, this ban on plastic is stupid as shyt. These paper bags rip easily and are strong enough to hold one or two boxes of cereal, otherwise, add one more item in that bag, the handles will tear right off.


I say we destroy the city by littering with a shyt load of paper bags and just leave em all over the place. Since it's the reason why they're banning plastic bags in the first place, fukk it, let's show em we'll leave these paper bags all over the place too.
