Nothing to see here....just a sensationalized story picking and choosing to highlight the breaks that FSU players get. How come none of these "gotcha pieces" ever mention Greg Dent or Greg Reid? Why didn't this journalist include the other instances where TPD chose to cite drivers involved in cases like this with tickets as well? There is nothing going on in Tallahassee that's not going on at any other major campus. Every body wanna pile on when they find an easy target. Now we have to pretend like a car accident is the most heinous crime in the world for the next few days, huh? I'm just waiting on ESPN to put Jameis picture up when talking about this case to make the cypher complete.
a hit and run is a felony in some states. HUGE difference between a hit and run accident, and a regular car accident.whether this happens at other colleges is not the issue. the issue is this happening period. covering up and hiding crimes because a guy plays athletics is ridiculousThere is nothing going on in Tallahassee that's not going on at any other major campus. Jameis gotta be like, "I'm glad I didnt ride along"![]()

Not ESPN. But other media outlets felt the need to include Jameis.
Tallahassee officers did not test Williams for alcohol or note in the police report if they asked him whether he had been drinking.
This comes as the handling of a sexual assault allegation against Seminoles quarterbackJameis Winston has been in the spotlight for a year. FOX Sports and New York Times reports alleged that police tampered with the 2013 investigation of the Heisman Trophy winner, handing over police reports to university officials and Winston's legal representation days before they were given to the state attorney.
Winston could face a university hearing as it pertains to the FSU code of conduct, but the hearing may provide the quarterback with an interestingly timed punishment that might not affect the team's attempt to win the national championship. The university's hearing was delayed and won't begin until Dec. 1, and if it is concluded on Dec. 5, a decision would not be due until Jan. 13, one day after the College Football Championship.

Yep, more reason for them to doubt his credibility and even Darby since he was one of the witnesses that night. They love to connect dots.
Too many flaws in her story to believe it. However, did the cops truly care whether he did or didnt? Eh...

Their are entirely to many holes in her story, and with Winston lawyer coming out and saying that if they paid her a certain amount of money she would go away...
But...it was obvious to me that the police had no intent at all of prosecuting Jameis from the get go...the police came off as "come on now do you really think we are going to prosecute the star qb at FSU? Really?"
