That’s irrelevant. If I’m hired to win games and I bet on us winning, my priorities are fully aligned.

It’s like boxers and tennis players, they get money for winning fights/games. If they bet on themselves, is that illegal?

Should have told the White Sox to not throw the 1919 World Series. They don't lose on purpose and the history of gambling laws in this country is different.

If they don’t have any evidence to tie Rozier and the person who bet together, then it would be technically hard to prove. Like it would be hard as hell to argue that he was messing up on purpose beyond a reasonable doubt.

It’s hard to prove, unless these bettors are ratting folks out because it’s all the same people from the Porter/Beasley stuff etc that coordinated bets thru a half dozen legal sportsbooks, and did so from their own personal phones and telegrams between each other. Hence, where we are

Sounds like the book in the article got hit in Mississippi, but we were hit mainly in Louisiana (they were playing Pelicans). All same crew though
