Not necessarily, but remember that was during a special time in Smackdown history. Better comparison for my guess for them is going to be like the Straight Edge Society (which included Gallows ironically)

Karl Anderson was the true glue of Bullet Club.
He's put on fantastic matches with Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Tetsuya Naito, and Hiroshi Tanahashi.
He's incredibly talented and well rounded. A technician with charisma, incredibly smart in and out of the ring.
Karl Anderson is not a create a wrestler. He's the wrestler you build your CAWs up to be.

I agree with this..... Balor Club is a bad idea for a name of a stable of guys you want to come off as equals as best you can.
Yea..... It's seems like it took then a little minute to come out of that Team Angle shadow. And yes they did a little.... But I'll be damned if they ain't earn it by hard work plus different climate so they were allowed to.

WGTT started having incredible matches after the break up of Team Angle..they looked like nobodies at first but the matches were just too good. They were going tete to tete with Guerreros and the Kidman/Mysterio Vengeance 03 match is one of the best tag matches of all time.

Nah, Anderson is bland as fukk. The only thing he has going for him are his ridiculously choreographed and convoluted cutter finishes, which he won't get to do anymore. Without them, he's about as legit close to a CAW as there is in wrestling. And Gallows has only become worse and worse since leaving WWE, so I'm still confused at why they signed them outside of being spiteful to NJ or doing a favor for Balor.
