This comes after Sony clarified the price point of PS4 games when SCEA President and CEO Jack Tretton explained that Sony, "will offer games with prices ranging from $0.99 to the more traditional $60 range with the ability for players to sample games before they buy."
It's important to note that Tretton's quote never gives a hard number, like a MSRP of $59.99, etc., which leaves plenty of room for interpretation of what Sony's view of a "traditional $60 range" might actually be.
IGN has reached out to Sony and Pachter for further comment.

Street fighter II On the snes was about 70 pounds back in the early 90's, can't remember if you got an arcade stick though?

But I would never pay 50 plus for a game, 30 is my limit tbh.

I'm not a hardcore gamer though, only usually Plsy soccer games online or call of duty and the odd game I see second hand.

They just ain't worth 70 quid to me, I'm not broke/tight, but not desperate enough to start spending 70 pound on xbox games.

I've yet to pirate a game on a current system (XBOX, PS2, PS3, Wii, XBOX 360).

A $70 game will cause me to have to do so.

The PS4 and 720 will be cracked eventually. Even with downloaded games.
