Highly doubt that. You can't replace the sound and rumble of a v8 if anything this will bring new customers while the old customers will buy their old v8s used.

They will bytch for a few years but they’ll end up coming over. At the end of the day, the V8s are on the way out and Dodge understands it’s buyer and I think will find a path forward for them.
