With what Digital Foundry suggested, it's def stronger than the PS4. But the hardware is also more modern than the PS4. So it can approach the PS4 Pro area with good optimization. Which is what I expect Nintendo First Party games should achieve.

One thing to also note is the Series S. Switch 2 has more RAM and has DLSS present. Altho Series S has more raw power. In all honestly if any game can run on Seires S, I can imagine it could be ported to Switch 2 if they really want to. Games at the scale of GTA & Cyberpunk I wouldn't touch on Switch 2, even if they end up on it. Though I do question why anyone would want to play them on Series S as well.

This guy did a tear down of the Switch 2 motherboard.



TL:DR It’s above base PS4 and slightly on par with PS4 Pro but with modern architecture in docked mode. With handheld mode being around base PS4.
