I've been GSDG from the jump, but I'm thinking about possibly making the switch. Debating whether I should trade my Nexus in for a 6S Plus.

LOVE my 6P, it's the best phone I've ever had. Literally the only shyt that has me thinking about switching is Android can't seem to get group messaging right. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but at least 70% of my phone usage is texting, so it gets frustrating.

Anyone have both phones that might be able to give me the pro's and cons of making the move?

You messaging primarily folks with iOS (iMessage) or a mixed group?

everyone in the group chats I'm in has iphones. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but sometimes it'll say "error downloading message" because it treats them as MMS, so I have to download the chat messages manually. It's dumb as hell. It happens often enough to where that's the sole reason I'm thinking about making the switch. As far as Android has come, I can't believe they haven't figured this one thing out yet. They don't seem to understand messaging as a whole, they can't even figure out which app we're supposed to use for texting smh

I'm sure you've exhausted all of your options. I never found an option that always worked for me when I was on Android. I tried probably 10 different clients and MMS was still always a roll of the dice though it worked most of the time.

iMessage is the goat messaging solution, but you may be making a huge sacrifice to go to iOS if you do a lot of downloading and stuff to your 6P. I found iOS to handle almost everything it has in common with Android as well or better, but the gaps in the featureset can be a hassle if you're in a rhythm with your current device.

Why is IPhone so gay though? Why can't you just download music str8 to your phone? LOL

They are the record distributioncompany and the government needs to step in and split them up like Att and ameritech for being a monopoly.

No direct file system access. You can download shyt and save it to your iCloud Drive, but it's not the same. It's the most glaring weakness of the OS in my eyes..but I've long ago (years) adjusted my usage habits so I don't really care anymore. Since I currently subscribe to Apple Music I have all the music I want available anytime anyway
