NFL Betting in Vegas today... Need help please

2 Questions:

1.) What underdog team has a chance to actually win in today's games? ( I'm already going to put a little bit of money on the Giants to win, but what other team that is an underdog actually has a chance to win today?)

2.) What will be the most fun and competitive game to watch? Last year I watched a playoff game at the Westgate casino and it was very fun because of the theater like atmosphere. Will it be the Seahawks game?

I took the over on NO/ATL and parlayed it with the Broncos gettin +5.5.

+5.5 means they can lose by up to 5.5 anything more you lose the bet. Anything less or if they win u win.

the book also gives the game a total score number. Like let's say 28. Both teams combined make 28. U pick if the combined score will be over that number or under.

In terms of underdogs in my opinion I think the Broncos can beat the Ravens today even though they're away from home. Cowboys and Zeke will run over Seahawks, Dolphins over Raiders and Giants can beat the Texans

TLDR...I only won 1 of my 6 bets. My $120 became $38.


Update: I spent 15-20 minutes making sure I understood what I was doing before I got to the front of the long line at the Westgate casino SportsBook. I penciled in my choices. Once I made it to the front I walk up to the teller that summons me. Unlike the other 9 attendants, this girl was kinda new and couldn't really answer my questions (that weren't too complex). She didn't rush me too much at first but we had to hurry because there was still a sizeable amount of people behind me. I had accidentally used a "parlay card", but that's not what I wanted to do (I think), so then I made 6 individual bets of $20 each (some straight bets and some over/under). Then, with my 6 tickets in my wallet, I left the casino. They weren't playoff games so I didn't feel like sticking around when there was so much more Vegas to explore. I purposely stayed ignorant of most of Sunday's game results, and waited till Monday to re-visit Westgate. When I handed over my 6 tickets I was anticipating having won at least 4 bets to help and replenish some of my roulette losses. It turns out I only won 1 bet (I didn't bet on the Bills game btw). I didn't foresee the Cowboys and Packers taking Ls. I didn't know Alex Smith was the QB for Washington (I still woulda gone for Green Bay, but I woulda scrutinized it a bit more, because Alex Smith has a huge chip on his shoulder after the 49ers played him a couple of seasons ago.). So that's how my $120 became $38.

I think I shouldn't rely on sports betting. That's me depending on "the next man" for whether I make some cash or not.

If I ever were to bet on any other games, then I would want to fully understand what I'm doing beforehand. Other than that, I'd rather the other games available in the casinos.
