Washington Redskins-Dallas Cowboys cap penalty appeals denied - ESPN

The Washington Redskins' and Dallas Cowboys' appeals of their salary-cap losses was dismissed by special master Stephen Burbank, NFL executive vice president and general counsel Jeff Pash announced Tuesday at the owners' meetings in Atlanta.

Burbank, who is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, met with representatives of the league, players' union and the two teams on May 10. The NFC East rivals were penalized for overloading contracts in the 2010 uncapped season despite league warnings.

The Redskins lost $36 million over two years and the Cowboys $10 million.

We signed Carr, and drafted Claiborne. The Redskins made moves as well. Goodell's bytchassness (cosigned by your hoe ass) had no bearing on our offseason

And you're still an aging team that was 8-8.

Enjoy that big ass pretty convention center because you chumps will not be seeing January football for another decade.

In English, this means the Cowboys and Redskins could sue the NFL for violating internal rules and regulations and/or any applicable fiduciary duties that require the league to represent the interests of all teams equally and fairly.* Burbank’s ruling seems to suggest that the Cowboys and Redskins tried to push such principles under the CBA, which means that they very well could choose to pursue such arguments in a full-blown lawsuit.

Goodell is finished :shaq:
