the average nba player makes 5million per
the average mlb makes 3.3 milly
the average nfl makes 1.9 milly
if the sport of football had a 12 man roster with 47% of 13billion dollars in revenue the average player would be making 15.5 milly

why are we really having this debate

They're not getting 47% of $13B... It's really about 35% as very few teams get over the cap.
the NFL has 3x the NBA revenue, yet only 1.5x the salary cap ($155m vs $94m)
NFL: $155m for 53 players
NBA: $94m for 15 players
Sorry, but that's a gigantic ripoff
