New Orleans Saints Marcus Williams last tackle was weak. But, If you watch it closely, instead of the receiver's catch, it seems to be an obviously poorly timed tackle and just bad in technique. I think the deeper question is, why?
1. He was paid off by Vegas bookies to blow the play.
2. He was playing injured, but didn't want to tell it to the trainers or coach. If you can't play with an injury not involving a concussion or major injury, it looks 'bad' that you can't play through the pain. I've read about this before. If this was the case and it might be, you can see Marcus going straight for the tackle instead of sideways. This tells me his agility was compromised where he couldn't push off diagonally, only forward. I don't know, ankle or leg injury.

I learned that these top defenses are not a fluke.

The Falcons are a fraud and Sarkisian has to go.

The Titans had no business playing

Saints are for real. Hopefully Marcus Williams can recover from this.

You're actually proving everyone's point with this

Because they don't have the defensive pieces :comeon:

The Saints had that game won. One player made a mistake that cost them all.

As per the Steelers, I can't explain it. Their defense was just awful. Giving up 38 pts? :gucci:

Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler, Mark Rypien, Peyton Manning in Denever.
These are the only subpar quarterbacks that I can think of that have won Superbowls. And that shyt ain't workout long term for either of them teams.

This season is an anomaly with 3 bums playing in the conference championships, but it isn't over

Let's watch and see who comes out on top :leostare:

I'm saying though. Are these muh'fukkas watching the same shyt we are?

Ur missing the point

Point is you don't need an elite QB to win

Get a great team defense, run game, play situational football with a game manager QB who doesn't turn the Ball over, and you'll be fine.

QBs are overrated, and these playoffs proved it

The Saint's were great this year because of what Brees DIDN'T have to do, though.

Oh and you didn't mention Eli or Flacco winning SB's either.

I'm a firm believer that teams invest wayy too much into the QB. The QB doesn't have to be the best player on your team to have success.

I'll give you the bolded but you have a better chance of winning with a good to great qb than with Trent Dilfer back there. It's up to the gm and staff to find the right pieces to go around on offense and defense.

Eli and Joe are alot better than Foles and Keenum (who started the season as backups) and as of right now, better than Bottles too.

They weren't subpar qbs then.

All season our running game has carried us but in games like this it's where yu get your ROI on an elite QB, last years SB with Tom Brady another example.

Whoever is the Saints' QB of the future, it's time to start getting him ready.

Jacksonville has somehow become the team best constructed to take on all of the marquee offenses in the league.

Eventually, the loss of Wentz will cost Philly. If he were healthy, they would have stomped all comers in the NFC and likely won the Super Bowl. And Foles is good enough to get Philly to that stage.
Philly are active and great in the trade market. From wentz to sproles to peters to ajayi..over the years a lot of talent has cme from trades.
WEVE LEARNED THAT COLI nikka LOVE TO COMPLAIN.

I remember reading SO MANY threads on how boring the NFL was, how the same QB's are winning all the time.

and HERE WE ARE, 3 out of the 4 QB's left have never won a SB and they al have VERY GOOD defenses.

YOU GOT ROOKIES LIGHTING it up and being exciting for Jacksonville, Saints, etc.

And you STILL have nikkas complaining about which QB's are playing.

Finally a playoff with some parity, WHAT WE ALL WANTED.
\not just the coli but the whole world. ton of idiots out here

Eli and Joe Flacco are not better than Foles or Keenum. Eli is similar to Bortles and Joe was better than Foles, but the difference isn't that significant overall on average.
