The Chiefs should be in the AFC championship game this year. They also have the best program for RB's, they've had the most consistent production from backs in the past 15 yrs.

I also think part of it is that, the way the rules are enforced now, it's more important to have good QB play. So when you don't, it's even more pronounced. I've been watching the NFL since I was a boy in the early 90s and, even since then, you can pretty much always count on 2/3 of NFL teams having weak QB play. But in the 90s, you could surround an average QB with a great runner and a great defense and still win games. Now?
Offenses in general have been awful and so have the games.
