Alabama coach Nick Saban has Big Ten country talking Tuesday after the first day of the SEC spring meetings in Destin when he questioned Ohio State's ability to get through an SEC schedule.
Saban was giving his thoughts on a nine-game SEC schedule when it was mentioned to him that Alabama likely would not have made the BCS Championship last season if undefeated Ohio State weren't on probation.
"How well would they have done if they had played the six teams that were ranked in the top 10? Would they have beat them all? Would they beat three of them?" Saban asked. "And I think they have a really good team and I think Urban (Meyer) is a great coach. I'm not questioning any of that. But I'm just saying that's where the strength of schedule and who you play doesn't get sort of accounted for quite equally."
Was this nothing more than a response to Urban Meyer's comments last week?
"You look at [2012], [Alabama] should have lost three games. Georgia had them beat," Urban Meyer told CBSSports. "LSU, I watched that one, it was over. Obviously they ended up beating them."

Is that a serious question? shyt is plenty broke and the only reason they keep it at 8 is so that they can keep more teams in the top 10. Adding a conference game means more head to head losses and they don't want that.
And I noticed they scheduled that Aggy vs Bama game as early as possible. That way the team that loses can win out and regain their status in the polls.
