Some of Jay-Z's best writing on the album is on that song.

But with that said, Harry Belafonte >>>>>>>>>>>> Jay-Z

That's why I just laugh when cats on here say he spit nothing but flossing/rich raps on the album. Dude was talking about a lot of real shyt on here.

The "Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it" line has never been truer.

Nickels & Dimes is the truth though.

:wow:

"SOmetimes I feel survivor's guilt
I gave some money to this guy
He got high as hell
Now Im part of the problem as far I could tell
Did I do it for him
Or did I do t for myself"

:wow:

The way he paints the difference between selfless and selfish giving as he continues to proceed down in this verse is :wow:

WHen I listened to the song and actually listened to what he was sayin..I caught myself thinkin back to just givin money to addicts to merely clear my conscience and not really for their benefit :wow:

The purest form of giving is anonymous to anonymous :wow:

This song hits home :wow:
And he has always been dope at "Whose the addict: The user or the Dealer" analogies... He always makes you question that shyt since the first album...
