Before you mods bush my thread, read the post first. I'm not attempting to divide but to shed light on something I've noticed for quite some time now. This is going to be a 2 part thread. First will be addressing celebrities this week unhappy with positions and using their counterpart in their fields to bring forward a message.

Skylar Diggins throwing Lebron under the bus

"But you rarely see the WNBA on the “Worldwide Leader in Sports:” ESPN. You rarely see them talking about women’s sports in general, let alone highlights of the WNBA games. Yes, LeBron is one of the best athletes in the world, but they’ll go into everything that he ate before they show a highlight of a WNBA game."

Skylar Diggins throwing Harrison Barnes under the bus

"I’m the highest paid player on the Dallas Wings, and my salary is in the low six figures. [Harrison Barnes, the highest paid player on the Dallas Mavericks, made $24 million last season.] He’s definitely younger than me. Do you know his stats? Was he an All-Star? I mean, it doesn’t matter. But last year, I was First Team All-WNBA, which only goes to five players. I was also a WNBA All-Star for the third time."

Nicki Minaj throwing Travis scott under the bus

"“Travis Scott wins Hoe nikka of the Week, by a landslide. He out here selling f**king clothes got y’all thinking he selling f**king music,” she declared. “What we’re not gonna do is have this f**king autotune man come up in here selling f**king sweaters and telling y’all he sold half a million f**king albums, ’cause he didn’t.”"

---------------
So what's going on out here, can we have a discussion why are these man are being throw into fire this week by woman they have no relations to or have spoken ill of :mjpls:

Now if these man reply back with the same energy, what would woman say about these man? This is what we are doing in 2018 y'all? :mjpls:

Skylar Diggins is talking about income and gender inequality. If anything she's throwing the NBA and ESPN under the bus.

Nicki Minaj is just being a brat.

Not quite the same thing.

Part 2 -

Skylar Diggins complaints aren't unreasonable but the fact of the matter is that women and certainly not men don't watch the WNBA. The WNBA doesn't bring in as much money as the NBA. So she's most likely never going to see the type of cash she would get if revenues were equal.

Come on dawgie let her get it off her chest ,she's just frustrated
Frustration can be vented without throwing man especially black man under the bus. These woman are black woman themselves in the limelight - is this what y'all are accepting? It's okay for them to slander these man to drive a point. :mjpls:

Before you think I'm being funny - this is my post from last month addressing Skylar Diggin's issue

I should neg you
You don't have to watch it then, let those sisters get paid for being highly skilled :francis:

I respect Damien for speaking out, said this for the last decade, shyt is not alright at all

Damian Lillard Speaks Out On WNBA Player Salaries

Imagine being 1% of a talent/skill,

Then coming to the realization that because you are a woman, you are going to get paid not 10x but 100x less than the average male version of you

1% of gamers make more, 1% everything I can possibly think about make more than the average WNBA player

The fact more of them aren't infuriated by this.. because the business model clearly is failing to bring an actual crowd to it

This thread could go pear shaped quickly lol. But to say my piece, I don’t expect solidarity with random black people I don’t know. The only thing we share is that we both probably abhor racism.

I owe them nothing and they owe me nothing. It’s probably the same for these entertainers. Why expect random black people to like or support you? Especially if you’re doing better than them lol. I don’t think it’s a thing between bm and bw. It’s just a culture thing. :yeshrug:

But a black man would never undermine the success of a black woman publicly at the risk of being labeled a misogynoirist. Nicki was out of pocket and Skylar is a typical anti-black male misandrist opportunist. Just keep doing you brehs and fukk the BS :yeshrug:

WNBA players can go overseas and make more money. WNBA itself isn't making money like that and maybe these women (not the athletes, but the women who don't play that point to this as an example of gender inequality) should stop complaining and try to get a bigger fanbase by actually watching the shyt themselves and getting their friends to watch it. NBA has kept that league afloat for years now and it isn't gonna be anything more than a continuing social experiment without better ratings. I think they should be at least paid comparably to female players overseas, but for them to compare themselves to the male equivalent here is ludicrous.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but WNBA salary caps are probably tied to (shytty) ratings. I don't even think it's a terrible product. I watched the finals last year and found it entertaining. But if you look at WNBA crowds, there's always empty seats. Not the problem of the male league. Not a valid comparison.

:dahell: why is Harrison Barnes being paid so much? :dead:

Nicki in general is :camby:not addressing this shyt at all

No, I'm very advocate of black man need to stop slandering black woman, we have evolved and man now know they will be held accountable for it but I'm noticing when the tables are turned - everyone is crickets about the personal attacks directed to black men and in this case black men who have done nothing wrong.

Wait till part 2

if more black women supported each other they wouldn’t be in their position and crying on social media, but they don’t wanna talk about the real issue. Let’s put all the blame on black men :sas2:

Right. If the WNBA was watchable loyal black women would support it

I see you breh

Black women are free to do what they want. Those that have something negative to say can call us problematic, emasculated, immature, incapable, weak and self serving til the cows come home. That’s their choice

They just better not expect me to care about their cute little WNBA nonsense or their shytty albums that are three years too late.

Get that money black man
