I will say the process of raising them is way more humane than what happens to chickens and cows over here in the states. Plus they're raised natural and not genetically modified and pumped with all those dangerous hormones. :jbhmm:

Well, whenever the US gov't collapse happens, followed by crazy inflation, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome rioting and what not, we are going to be eating rats, squirrels, racc00ns, opossums, and whatever other wild animals because beef, chicken, ham fish, turkey and whatever other normal meat from the grocery store are not going to be available except for the elite wealthy.

You ever wonder how they have all this beef? Where do they get all this beef for fast food and the various restaurants? Every supermarket is stocked full of meat. Has there ever been a large decrease of beef? shyt is so strange to me.

Do we really have this many cows?

All the beef comes from cows. The way they can increase meat production is by not herding them around. They lose weight that way. If they weight less, they can't sell the cow for as much. If they are kept in a penned in area, they get fatter. And, the farms can contain more cows in a penned up area instead of huge pastures. It's like a massive chicken coup, but for cows.
It's a big industry. This is why some "whistleblowers" are pointing out problems with the way cattle are raised. Beef producers are able to keep up with demand (all the supermarkets have beef like you are saying), by industrializing the process of raising cows. They point out inhumane conditions that the cows are raised in and they talk about the food that they are fed can be related to food allergies or sicknesses that humans get from eating these non-free-ranch cows.
