Its not about physical appearance.

she looks exactly wheres she's from which is Kenya. but to say she looks Nigerian is a straight up fallacy

uh yes.

each ethnic group in Nigeria has a distinct look. i can literally point them out when i go outside my crib

nikka no offense but she is the most kenyan looking woman i have ever seen.

To say she looks like a Nigerian or any west African is some utter bullshyt.

She looks nothing like a west african

you're telling me a kenyan looks the exact same as a Nigerian :dahell:
kenya and their people look nothing like nigerians

:what:

no she does not.

she does not look like the average Hausa person nor does she look close to Fulani. Not even like a mix hausa-fulani person.

stop lying, you've never seen a hausa person

idgaf but she don't look Igbo at all. At least find an American who looks like Igbos with a fake accent on some Will Smith shyt. She looks Kenyan, it makes no sense.

Yeah its really weird that people are saying she looks Nigerian.

The people posting that probably look more Nigerian than she does :deadrose:

Man you're a clown straight up

Next time you complain about a foreign actor portraying an ADOS icon, you better make sure your argument is purely about physical appearance and absolutely nothing else.

Weirdo shyt. Im sure if i went through your post history all i would see would be double standards and passive aggression

There is a comprehension problem going on here. :bryan:
I stated flat-ouagree with ya'll just bc...or even if her appearance to YOU, and your's was too much of a bridge to cross. Fine. Same time one other ppl might not even recognize. Thats it.
It was just the od harping on her looks, or lack thereof being the primary focus,(proven); like damn:picard:
Besides that idgaf. Boycott the film by all means!:hubie:

Actually I bet that they are just trolling you.

From my standpoint it is all just acting, but I can understand the issues that people are raising by pointing out that a person not from a specific ethnic group is being given a role specific to a specific ethnic group. If we keeping it real we should also point out that Djimon Hounsou who is from Benin (I presume maybe Yoruban) was cast as Cinque in the movie the "Amistad." Cinque was actually Mende from Sierra Leone, which is no where near Benin or Yoruba people. The problem is that we as Black people around the World need to take control of our own stories.
