I still might have Mos in my Top 15-20, probably.

The list after 10 changes all the time, but he made so much impactful sh*t and classics, that I still have to have him on the list somewhere around there. At one point, I actually had him listed ahead of dudes like Common.

yasiin being in the Top 15 - 20 sounds about right

He definitely made such an impressive and amazing albums with BOBS, BS and The and then all guest features in the mid to late 99’’s and early 2000’s

Yup. He was nicer than Common

That's how I see it too.

Even with his loosies that he was putting out before the first album. I just always loved the dude's music. I listen to the early UTD stuff too, all the time, lol. He really made that much of an impact, even though he didn't give us as much music as we wanted. SMH!!

Exactly

You know, it’s interesting you can see the shift in his music starting at TND

TM was just leftovers but some gems on there

The Ecstatic was like a rebirth, DOOM’s influence is heavy there and ever since then, when he does rap, he reverts back to this style of rapping, like a stream of consciousness style of rapping.

Over the span of 26 years, bruh only has 4 albums. That shyt is crazy when you think about lol

I think he was trying to experiment with The New Danger.

It didn't work, but I give him props for trying. HAHA!!

The Ecstatic was a beautiful record, bro! That's how I knew he still had it. It's not on the DSP's, so I'm glad I still have my mp3's from back in the day. But yeah, damn near 30 years and 4 albums is like some D'Angelo type sh*t. LOL!!

Yup lol

Yeah he was brave to let that be his second album.

I also think some of the rock and blues songs on TND were probably songs that were for his Black Jack Johnson album but when Rawkus shelved it, he just threw some of those songs on there.

Bingo! I remember I bought The Ecatatic off Amazon and downloaded when it came it lol

Same here, that album is special

I hear what ppl are saying here. But to me if you look at it like his singing songs and not rap - to me it sounds cool. I saw it with the cartoon.
