if they are reasonably attractive..I like a nice looking yellow/redbone myself but I don't think they are special or favor them over other similarly attractive blackwomen..I think it may be cause alot of you are trolling or suburban nikkas whom were raised around cacs and by television/rap music but most blackmen in real life I encounter( outside a couple of crispy c00n former friends and my new black brother I no longer talk )aint this colorstruck. as far as women are concerned.

I've seriously have given a similar looking(cute green eyed light auburn haired) but more classy yellowbone a cold shoulder in favor of of a mahogany goddesses though partially cause the litebrite perky attitude annoyed.me and i prefer my sisters with to act more traditionally black. being that's what i'm used to

i'm also tired of seeing plain to slightly above average lightskin wenches like Zoe Kravitz, and her momma, Zoe Saldano, the half breed from that show "Girlfriends," Halle Berry and others in the entertainment hyped up as the standard of black beauty when there are many sisters of all shades better looking.

don't get this mistaken for me having anything against the the lightskin sisters though cause I have plenty in my family(come from them) and some of my most fond romantic memories have been with red/yellow bones but lit still irks me how these bw get a disproportionate amount of attention mostly online and the entertainment industry though

Mixture of social engineering and romanticizing the exotic.

I grew up around a lot of light skinned girls so I always found them attractive but it wasn't exotic to me so I was free of that. I like a lot of women of all kinds. But the light skinned thing is mainly a case of nurture, as light-skinned people who are mixed tend to have some european features that fall into line with the western standard of conventional beauty. So we are visually attracted to their image - doesn't necessarily mean we get a complete visceral reaction but we've been socialized to see it as beautiful - by peers and the like.
