nope, they not pulling the plug just yet...for at least 1 more year, they gonna wait to see what effect mario kart, zelda, and any other heavy hitter game does for the system...i do expect some type of add-on to make the wii u more appealing though....

if none of that shyt works, expect a new system 2015 holiday season

pulling the plug too early can make them look like sega. people might respond to the wii u 2 with even less enthusiasm. they need to ride this horrible console for a while so the nintendo fanboys can at least save face and feel like their investment was respected. then try something new in 2016

That's because they've been putting all their focus and attention on their handhelds (2DS, 3DS) for the past few years, hence their huge success and quality library, but I take it you console hypocrites won't count that just because they're handhelds, even though Nintendo will forever shyt on Sony in that market. :youngsabo:

They're not gonna kill the Wii U.

They're gonna ride it out until work on their next gen system is ready to be shown. Nintendo has no intention of killing off the Wii U like the punks at Sega that killed the Dreamcast because they couldn't afford it.

Killing off the Wii U now would be financial suicide to Nintendo, even moreso than sticking with it.

So are you saying that the failure thus far of the Wii U is for lack of push by Nintendo and not the system itself?

Ironic. Madden, Mass Effect, and 2K have all been on the Wii U.

To be fair, Halo died at 4, Gears fell off after Judgement, Fallout is nowhere near as good as the last installments, Mass Effect 3 killed everything about the Mass Effect series.

Madden and 2k are straight tho.:yeshrug:
