but by Christmas I would assume that there will be tons of these to go around.I doubt people will be scrambling to get these at launch since there's barely any games to play. Come Christmas time though I'm sure ebay will be eating good off these.
That's if Nintendo can meet demand. They are known to short supply on purpose to create more hype so it's anyones guess if there will be enough in stores at holiday time.but by Christmas I would assume that there will be tons of these to go around.
eBay takes 13% of the total sell. So $40 off the base price alone. Add in what ever it sells for over retail and add in your sales tax say it sells for $500 you lose $80 on 5% sales tax and fees.Pre Ordered one for Release day, you all think there will be a market for this on Ebay?

I don't know about you but $120 ain't worth it to me. Especially with the risk on eBay. Add free shipping to that cause if you don't your final sell price will likely be less too. You're probably looking at $95 or so dollars.
You buy a system at retail you're paying sales tax to buy it. That comes off your profit.Ebay doesnt charge sales tax
Yes, its pretty much sold out everywhere, in regard to pre-orders. Best Buy started pre-orders again yesterday for their second batch, and they were sold out again in like 15 minutes, yesterday. The demand for the console is there.
Sell it locally...in a safe place.
eBay with preorders is tough because you often get people with buyers remorse if they can grab it at retail. eBay will clearly side with them.
