Nipsey Hussle Welcomes Fatburger To Crenshaw With Custom Uniforms

Nipsey Hussle takes a lot of pride in his L.A. neighborhood. So, when the popular fast food franchise Fatburger opened a new store in Crenshaw on Monday (February 24), Nipsey welcomed all the employees with open arms and a one-of-a-kind uniform.

"Fatburger being an iconic brand in L.A., our core values aligned. We had an idea to co-brand the Crenshaw collection from the Marathon Clothing with the Fatburger logo," Hussle told MTV News in an exclusive interview Monday at the grand opening of the restaurant on Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue.

Rappers are fcuking up the game turning hip hop into a come-up for other business ventures...

(1) If you are rapper, you should be a rapper...We shouldn't know you as anything but a rapper...I am sure Mick Jagger and Bono have other business ventures, but we only know them as rockers and maybe charity concerts...These rockers been the game for years AS ROCKERS...Period.

(2) This cross-branding shyt is ridiculous, and pretty much reduces Hip Hop to nothing but a marketing scheme for promoting brand name products and consumerism...

(3) If I see you as "Neighborhood Nip" promoting Fatburger and such, then I don't want to here "rolling 60 this and crip that" in your music...Because it doesn't sound authentic any more...Sure you were a crip, and you were about that life, but you have moved passed it, so write more intelligent lyrics...

This is why I CAN'T listen to Jay Z...Dude has a line to Obama, Warren Buffet and other folks who determine life for the rest of us, and all he can talk about is "I used to be a drug dealer, now wearing Tom Ford and chilling in the South of France"....Come on man! You should be talking about political power, the meaning of life and heavier topics when you are on that level...

You can be Jay Z and talking about the same things as Chief Keef...Designer clothes and spending a ridiculous amount of money for no good reason...

(4) Then rappers wonder why real musicians (people who actually have a clue about music, instruments, song writing and etc) DON'T respect hip hop...Hip Hop is just a come-up for people to finance their business ideas...

Music has very little to do with hip hop...

You can't compare Nip to tha camel

Nip is an authentic banger, really lived it, not just a street reporter

nip always been a hustler, hell his name is Nipsey hussle , his raps are motivational tell young nikkaz to get off they ass and grind

as far as him not being a crip anymore, that's an outsiders presumption just cuz he blowing up now, don't get it twisted that nikka still in tha hood catchin fades and knockin nikkaz out! no extraz

yeah in ways hip hop is a come up, but you have to look at tha disadvantaged areas where hip hop came from, it's human nature to want to "come up", fuc art, nikkaz is trying to eat!

Terrible post...

Rappers are entertainers/celebrities like everyone else and should be afforded the same opportunity to capitalize off said celebrity. So Dre should have just stuck to being a producer/rapper...f*ck some Beats by Dre, never mind the fact it's got him brining in 8 figures+ damn near every year. Or maybe Puff should have said f*ck it, I'ma just be a label head and dance in everybody's videos instead of this Ciroc, Sean Jean or Revolt sh*t...who wants to be the first Hip-Hop Billionaire.

Do realize how stupid all that sh*t you typed was?

this isn't even nipsey's business. he doesn't own this fatburger location. he's just showing them love and giving the employees t-shirts. can't be mad at that. :yeshrug:
