released in December 2005, around 11 years ago. this was the tape that started it all for young Nipsey. he would go on to build his buzz in L.A. by releasing 2 more tapes three years later in 2008, and tried to build off of that buzz and released more music for the streets. he was then signed to Epic records but left around late 2010 or 2011 for wanting to go his route and he has successful did so. he recently released very successful projects like The Marathon, The Marathon Continues, Crenshaw, and Mailbox Money. this young man also went on to being able to donkey fukk the shyt out of Lauren London and he went the Indie route and has his own label called All Money In.

I actually have never heard this. I didn't get into his music until later during the Bullets Have No Name run.

The guy is serious about his music but it is just one of many hustles he has. That's his rap name for a reason.

I think first time I heard Nipsey was on Bullets remix ft. Game (either that or "They Roll", whichever dropped first) then I downloaded vol.1 of that mixtape series & I think vol.2 dropped soon after. I think those songs kinda started his early online buzz too, some bws forum I was on & definitely dubcnn forums started talking about him more

edit. I see that I already have this I must've downloaded this after those first 2 mixtapes then... I don't really remember anything about this mixtape though
