Jokic and Serbia got knocked out in the first knockout game to Lauri and Finland

The French as well. Bilal Coulibaly looked like trash in the elimination :mjcry:

Giannis has lead Greece to the final 8. Dominated Deni Avdija and Israel. This is what Israel’s coach said before the game

Luka has Slovenia in the final 8.

I was trying to tell these dudes that international teams have far more turnover on a generational basis than the US ever will. Remember when Italy was good? Lithuania?

France without Wemby is cooked as they are young and need one of their guards to pop as Fornier is pretty much finished.

Serbia similarly is old and their golden generation is nearing the end.

Germany is probably the most dangerous with the Wagner brothers.

Yea i dont know how they match what great players they have had :

Bogdan Bogdanovic, Vasilije Micic, Nikola Jokic, Nikola Milutinov, DAMN!!

Thats a hell of a era for Serbia

have to assume they will take a step back in the coming years

Serbia was favored to win it all, and losing so early is apparently a huge upset…”upset of the century” according to Euro League commentators …and Finland won by targeting Jokic on defense scoring 10pt in a row to end the game…. The greatest of all time in his prime let down his countrymen :damn:

Let’s talk about it :sas2:

You would have thought after the Gasol Bros/Fernandez/Rubio/etc era of Spain hoops that they would turn into an international superpower but their next gen of "stars" is lightyears worse than that era.

Germany vs Slovenia was a great game, down to the wire

Commentators couldn’t hide their disgust of Slovenia’s crying to the refs towards the end tho :mjlol:

I like to watch them cause of Luka

But the crying by that team sometimes can be annoying
